About Smiles
Leonardo da Vinci said that there is no unsightly face that could not be changed thanks to smile. But the painter created his Giaconda without dazzling smile. A lot of people may say that our forefathers wanted to look more strict and triumphant. It is enough to look at the portraits of American presidents depicted on dollar bank notes. There is a simple explanation to this fact: dentistry was not so well-developed many years ago and people lost their teeth too early. It was the reason why ladies at the ball hid modestly their lower part of face with a fan.
